Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a Schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise and subsidiary of ONGC limited, is operating a 15 MMTPA state-of–the art Refinery located in a beautiful hilly terrain, north of Mangaluru city, in Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka State. It also incorporates a Polypropylene unit having a capacity of 440 KTPA and an Aromatic Complex capable of producing 0.905 MMTPA of Para Xylene and 0.273 MMTPA of Benzene.

Educational Qualification for MRPL Jobs
Candidates must have:
- Chemical : Three years Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Technology or Diploma in Petrochemical Engineering or Technology or Diploma in Polymer Engineering or Technology or Diploma in Refinery Engineering or Technology with relevant experience.
- Electrical : Three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with relevant experience.
- Mechanical : Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
- Chemistry : Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry with Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry or Applied Chemistry with relevant experience.
- Draftsman : Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
- Secretary : Three years diploma in Commercial Practice with relevant experience.
Age Limit for MRPL Jobs
Age Limit age limit is set at 28 years, for OBC (NCL) it’s 31 years, and for SC/ST candidates, it’s 33 years. For PwBD candidates, the age limits are further relaxed to 38 years for UR/EWS, 41 years for OBC (NCL), and 43 years for SC/ST candidates.
