Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
SSC Constable Recruitment 2022. The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission.
The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination and Document Verification.

10th Pass with recognized board or university.
Age Limit for SSC Constable Recruitment 2022
Age Limit 18 to 23 years As on 01.01.2023,
Age Relaxation:
- For SC/ ST Candidates: By 5 years
- For OBC Candidates: By 3 years
- For Ex-Servicemen Candidates: By 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the date of reckoning.
- For Children and dependent Candidates of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (Unreserved): By 5 years
- For Children and dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (OBC): By 8 years
- For Children and dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (SC/ ST): By 10 years.
Selection Process for SSC Constable Recruitment 2022

Salary – Rs.34,383/- to Rs.40,773/-
