Educational Qualification for UPSC Jobs 2023

1. Deputy Commissioner (Horticulture): Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree in Horticulture or Agriculture or Botany with specialization in horticulture or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
2. Assistant Director (Toxicology): Candidates must have passed Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science or Masters Degree in Pharmacology or Toxicology, Master Degree in Computer Applications or Information Technology or Computer Science or Software Engineering or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
3. Rubber Production Commissioner: Candidates must have passed Post Graduate in Botany or Agriculture or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
4. Scientist ‘B’ (Non Destructive): Candidates must have passed Master Degree in Physics, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
5. Scientific Officer (Electrical): Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree in Physics or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
6. Fisheries Research Investigation Officer: Candidates must have passed Masters Degree in Zoology with specialization in Fisheries or M.F.Sc or M.Sc in Marine Biology or M.Sc in Industrial Fisheries or M.Sc in Aquaculture or M.Sc in Fisheries Science or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
7. Assistant Director of Census Operations (Technical): Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operational Research or Population Sciences or Demography or Mathematical Statistics or Applied Statistics or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
8. Assistant Director (IT): Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree / Master Degree in Computer Applications or Information Technology or Computer Science or Software Engineering or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
9. Scientist ‘B’ (Toxicology): Candidates must have passed Master Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Pharmacology or Pharmacy or Forensic Science with Chemistry or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
10. Scientist ‘B’ (Civil Engineering): Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
11. Junior Translation Officer: Candidates must have passed Master’s degree in Hindi with English or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
12. Deputy Legislative Counsel (Hindi Branch): Candidates must have passed Masters Degree in Law or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
13. Assistant Engineer Grade-I: Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Engineering or Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) or Engineering Degree in Mining, or Mechanical or Drilling or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
14. Senior Scientific Officer: Candidates must have passed Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from a recognized University OR Doctorate degree or the equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
