RPSC Recruitment . That the persons appointed temporarily to a post in the service shall be deemed to be within the age limit, had they been within the age limit when they were initially appointed even though they have crossed the age limit when they appear finally before the Commission and shall be allowed upto two chances had they been eligible as such at the time of their initial appointment.
That the upper age limit mentioned above shall be relaxable by a period equal to the service rendered in the National Cadre Corps in the case of Cadet Instructors and if the resultant age does not exceed the prescribed maximum age limit by more than three years, they shall be deemed to be within the prescribed age limit.

Educational Qualification for RPSC Recruitment
- A degree in Food Technology or Dairy technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agriculture Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University. or any other equivalent/recognized qualification notified by the Central Government,
- Has successfully completed training as specified by the Food Authority in a recognized institute or institution approved for the purpose: (Note:- There is no requirement for training prior to selection. This training shall be provided to the selected candidates during probation period.) Provided that no person who has any financial interest in the manufacture, import or sale of any article of food shall be appointed to be a Food Safety Officer under these rules.

Salary – Rs.37,800/- to Rs.1,19,700/-
